3. You might need to refresh your browser window if you do not connect to Walter right away
4. You can access the chatbot from the main page of the course along with the content

Prompt writing is the most important skill to learn when using GenerativeAI:

1. Scene
   1. Set the scene for the role, expertise, and environment the chatbot should use.
   2. "You are an expert history instructor or librarian for high school students"
2. Specificity
   1. Be specific in the task and provide details on what to include.
   2. "Provide three different examples (or views) on [state the topic]"
3. Simplify
   1. Keep your language simple, clear, and direct.
   2. “List up to five key events that led to the Riel Rebellion”
4. Structure
   1. Tell the chatbot what to create with specifics on the format (table, list, paragraph), audience (student, grade), and purpose (for a report, or presentation).
   2. “Create a 3-column table with the five events of the Riel Rebellion in one column and the positive and negative outcomes in the other two columns”
5. Share
   1. Provide feedback in a conversational style to provide specifics on what needs to be revised to meet your needs.
   2. "Change the format from a table to a (checklist, paragraph)”
